Andy Rush
Headteacher & DDSL
Having trained at the University of Worcester. Andy has worked in Education and Care for over 23 years. Originally in mainstream secondary schools and for 20 years in SEMH schools and Children’s Homes, as a Teacher, Senior Leader and Director of Specialism (PE & Sport). Andy holds the National Professional Qulaification for Executive Leadership and is an Advanced Teamteach instructor.
Andy has also worked on the ‘International Inspiration’ programme in Ghana with British Council and was previosuly a SEND link advisor to Youth Sport Trust.
Andy believes in the power of education and care to overcome barriers to learning over time and enabling pupils to more confidently access opportunities beyond school.
Beth Archer
Deputy Headteacher & DDSL
(Behaviour, Attitudes & Attendance)
After achieving a first class degree in Education & History at Bishop Grosseteste University, Beth has over 12 years’ experience teaching in CIT’s SEMH schools.
Beth holds the National Professioanl Qualification for Senior Leadership and NaSENDCo Award. Beth is also an Advanced TeamTeach instructor.
She designed and implemented the school’s bespoke SEMH profiling tool “Tides” and is the stategic lead for Behaviour Strategy.
Beth passionately advocates for the educational and pastoral welfare of all pupils and their families.
Nick Jackson
Assistant Headteacher & DDSL
(Curriculum, Assessment, Accreditation & Visits)
Nick joined Greenfields in 2019. With over 12 years of experience within education, Nick holds degrees in both Teaching and Sports Education.
Nick has most recently completed an NPQLT and is a trained STA Keystone Moderator for Lincolnshire. He is responsible for curriculum, assessment, and accreditation as well as the Exams Officer and ECT Lead within the academy.
Nick advocates that the quality of curriculum a school has shapes the quality of thinking that goes on within the school, therefore shaping the quality of the minds engaging with it2
Jodie Wilkes
Assistant Headteacher & DSL
(Safeguarding, SENDCo, Welfare, Pupil Voice & Children in Care)
From January 2026 Jodie will be on Maternity Leave and her duties are covered by Shaun Maye.
Jodie joined Greenfields in 2022 having worked in Education for over 15 years. She initially worked as a 1:1 TA supporting pupils with additional needs before returning to study at Bishop Grosseteste University to qualify as a teacher.
Jodie has taught across the primary age range and led on a range of subject areas. Jodie holds an NPQML and the NaSENDCo award. She is responsible for the pastoral elements of school life including holding the Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENDCo roles alongside promoting pupil voice and wellbeing.
Jodie believes that learning does not need to follow a pre-defined path and not all learning happens at a desk. She is passionate about giving pupils opportunities that allow them to meet their full potential.
Shaun Maye

Shaun Maye is the Acting Designated Safeguarding Lead for Greenfields Academy during the Maternity Leave of Jodie Wilkes.
