Greenfields Future Scientists?!

Primary 1 Class have been really enjoying their Science lessons!

A high-quality science education provides the foundations for understanding the world. At Greenfields Academy, all pupils are taught essential aspects of knowledge, methods, processes and uses of science.

Pupils have been conducting experiments to test the speed of a toy car on different surfaces. They have worked scientifically considering different variables and ensuring a fair test as well as making predictions and recording their results.

The children have also been learning about forces – act on objects, materials and living things and can make them move, stop, speed up, slow down, change direction or change shape. They have conducted experiments to test whether objects use push or pull forces, and also how objects move on different surfaces.
